Spring 2022 course flyer for Hebrew classes

The Program in Jewish Culture & Society invites you to take Hebrew 202 or Hebrew 404 in Spring 2022. Both classes focus on language acquisition and proficiency. They are a gateway to learning more about Hebrew speaking communities (in Israel and around the world), to exploring Hebrew literatures and cultures, and to accessing a diverse array of transformative learning experiences inside and outside the classroom. During the Spring 2022 semester, both levels will include regular engagements with guest speakers and programming (on campus and online) designed to give students the opportunity to immerse themselves--however briefly--in the Hebrew-speaking world.

Hebrew classes can be used to fulfill the LOTE requirement and can be counted toward the major and minor in Jewish Studies. Qualified students can also apply for FLAS fellowships in Hebrew

Please contact Professor Liat Alon if you have questions about either section Hebrew, would like to learn more about our Hebrew program, or want to arrange for a placement or proficiency exam in Hebrew.
