Rhona Seidelman is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Israeli History. A native of Canada, she received her BA and MA at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and her PhD at Ben Gurion University in Beer-Sheva. She is the author of numerous publications on the history of Zionism, migration, and Israeli medicine. Her 2008 dissertation was entitled "Shaar Haaliya: Contagion, Aliya and Quarantine during Israel's Mass Immigration, 1949-1956." Rhona was on campus through the Isreal Studies Project for the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters.
