As this year's Greenfield/Lynch endowed lecturer and a MillerComm speaker, illustrious author Nicole Krauss read from her new novel, Forest Dark, followed by a Q & A session with Brett Ashley Kaplan (Director, Initiative in holocaust, Genocide, and Memory Studies) at the Spurlock Museum on April 9, 2019.
Of Forest Dark, Philip Roth says, "A brilliant novel. I am full of admiration."
Additionally, Krauss presented a workshop on noon of the same day to study a chapter of Abraham Joshua Heschel's Man is Not Alone, and a passage from Forest Dark.
