Karen Grumberg, Assistant Professor of Hebrew Literature at the University of Texas at Austin, is one of Castel-Bloom’s foremost interpreters, having just written the afterword to Dalkey Archive Press’s republication of Dolly City. Orly Castel-Bloom, the author of the widely acclaimed novels Dolly City, Free Radicals, and Human Parts, is considered to be Israel’s leading female writer.
